Introduction
  • This is a legal binding agreement between the user/student/learner of our programs and SINFODE stating the terms that govern the use of the platform as defined/stated on this page.
  • The website www.sinfode.com and mobile application and the information, services, and other materials contained therein are provided and operated by SINFODE.
  • SINFODE offers specially designed and curated online/offline higher education courses that are industry-relevant certification programs and career assistance services.
  • Please review our Terms of Use, Privacy Policy, and other policies available on the Platform that govern the use of the Platform and Programs. By accepting these Terms in any manner or accessing the website, you consent, agree and undertake to abide, be bound by, and adhere to the Terms and if you do not agree to these Terms, you are not entitled to avail of/use the Programs and any use thereafter shall be unauthorized.
  • These Terms shall apply to SINFODE hosted mobile apps, WhatsApp/Telegram groups, Facebook groups, Instagram pages, Facebook pages, email/SMS/phone communications, and other social media forums hosted by SINFODE, which shall be deemed to be part of the ‘Platform’. You acknowledge that certain parts of the Platform, as mentioned above, are provided by third-party service providers, and you agree to abide by their terms and conditions. SINFODE shall not be responsible for any disruption of services caused by such third-party service providers.
  • Although you may “bookmark” a particular portion of the Platform and thereby bypass these Terms, your use of the Platform still binds you to these Terms.
  • We may change these Terms from time to time without prior notice. You should review this page regularly. Your continued use of the Platform and Programs after changes have been made will be taken to indicate that you have read and accepted those changes. You should not use the Platform or Programs if you are not happy with any changes to these Terms.
  • SINFODE makes no representations that the Platform operates (or is legally permitted to operate) in all geographic areas, or that the Platform or information, services, or products offered through the Platform are appropriate or available for use in other locations. Accessing the Platform from territories where the Platform or any content or functionality of the Platform or its portions thereof is illegal, is expressly prohibited. If you choose to access the Platform, you agree and acknowledge that you do so on your own initiative and at your own risk and that you are solely responsible for compliance with all applicable laws.
  • The minimum age to join any course at SINFODE is 16 years. There is no maximum age.
  • It is the sole responsibility of the user enrolling into a Program to check the accuracy and evaluate the suitability and relevance of the Program elected.
  • A student’s registration and enrollment for any course at SINFODE are a binding agreement to finish the course and to pay the full fees.
  • The application form must be signed to show the student’s agreement to follow SINFODE Education Private Limited terms and conditions.
  • In order to participate in most Platform activities and to apply for a Program, you will need to register using a personal account (“User Account”) by undergoing a two-step verification process to verify your login credentials such as your phone number, by way of a one-time password which will be sent to your phone number simultaneously and/or by providing an email address and a password that is unique.
  • You agree that SINFODE shall under no circumstance be liable to you in the event of non-availability of the Platform or any portion thereof occasioned by Act of God, war, disease, revolution, epidemic, pandemic, lockdown, riot, civil commotion, strike, lockout, flood, fire, satellite failure, failure of any public utility, man-made disaster or any other cause whatsoever beyond the control of SINFODE.
  • SINFODE reserves the right to plan and alter the curriculum and its flow as per industry requirements/standards. Choice of trainers for courses offered is at SINFODEs discretion.

Course

Fees
  • Upon payment of the Program fees – in part or whole, depending on the Program – SINFODE shall deliver the terms of use of the Program and grant you access to the Program
  • Owing to certain exceptional circumstances, if SINFODE has granted you access to a Program pending payment, and SINFODE does not receive payments within the stipulated time period, SINFODE may, at its own discretion, withdraw your access to the Program without giving any prior notice
  • If a student has agreed to pay the total course fee in installments, a reminder will be given before the due date
Fee Refund Policy
  • SINFODE follows a strict no-refundable policy. Due to unforeseen circumstances, the institute reserves the right to postpone/reschedule any batch. Any registration fee will not be refunded under these circumstances
  • Registration fees are conditionally refundable and non-transferable. Conditions for the same have been mentioned below with the breakup of the refund amount
  • Institute will cancel the admission of a candidate if the due installment is not cleared after 15 days of the deadline
  • Late fee payment will attract a penalty of 5% per week on the installment amount after the due date
  • Refund of any fees to students from the institute will be processed in 30 working days only in case of Post Graduate Programmes
  • No fee will be refunded, if we shift the learning mode of the course to online because of any unforeseen circumstancs
  • No amount will be refunded to the student if hae/she has got a scholarship or any fee waiver for the course
Refund of fee in other cases
  • In case, admission of the student is canceled on account of disciplinary action or violation of Anti Ragging Regulations or Substance Abuse or Breach of Code of Conduct or any other Rules & Regulations of the Institute, No Refund of fees is permissible
  • Admission cancelled on grounds of failing the eligibility verification, then no amount will be refunded
  • In any other case which is not covered in these rules, the decision would be taken by the Management
Modes of Fee Payment

All fees are payable in INR and payment can be made as follows:

  • By bank transfer directly to our account. Please note that all bank charges must be paid at source, otherwise the student will be charged on arrival. Please email us a copy of the remittance advice on admissions@sinfode.com / accounts@sinfode.com Please mention the student’s name and batch details on the remittance
  • To make payment for any Program or to purchase any services or products offered by SINFODE through the Platform, you must have internet access and a current valid accepted payment method
  • SINFODE does not store any of your credit card information or such other information restricted by the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) for processing payment and has partnered with payment gateways for the payment towards the services. By using a third-party payment provider, you agree to abide by the terms of such a payment provider. You agree that in case SINFODEs third-party payment provider stores any such information, SINFODE will not be responsible for such storage, and it will be solely at your discretion to allow the third party to store such information. Any loss of such information or any loss incurred by you due to the usage of such information will be solely a loss incurred by you, and SINFODE is in no way liable for any such losses and is neither responsible to reimburse/make good such losses in any manner whatsoever. You also agree to pay the applicable fees for the payments made through the Platform
  • Depending on where you transact with us, the type of payment method used, and where your payment was issued, your transaction with us may be subject to foreign exchange fees or exchange rates. SINFODE does not support all payment methods, currencies, or locations for payment. All applicable taxes are calculated based on the billing information you provide to us at the time of enrolment/purchase
Batch Transfer
  • Fees paid for one program cannot be transferred to another program or another student/person
  • While availing of the batch transfer/extension students will have to pay a batch transfer fee and the difference in the tuition fees if any at the time of readmission
  • Students can apply for a batch transfer within 180 days from the date of the orientation of said batch by writing an email to the course management team at contact@sinfode.com. Once approved, the same can be availed within 365 days from the date of orientation. Any request post that will be considered as fresh application
  • The batch transfer option can be availed only once. Post that one has to make a fresh application
Admission Cancellation
  • Admission of the student will be canceled by SINFODE on account of disciplinary action or violation of Anti Ragging Regulations or Substance Abuse or Breach of Code of Conduct or any other Rules & Regulations of the University. No refund of fees is permissible
  • Admission stands canceled if a student doesn’t report to the institute for more than 20 days and no refund of fees is permissible.
  • Admission stands canceled on grounds of failing the eligibility verification and no refund of fees is permissible.
  • Admission stands canceled if a student fails to pay fees 15 days after the given deadline date
Attendance
  • At SINFODE, the attendance of students is strictly monitored where a minimum of 80% is mandatory for every module of the course. At the end of the program, an average of all modules’ attendance will be calculated
  • We expect every student to be on time for every session. Latecomers are not allowed into class
  • Students failing to achieve a minimum of 80% attendance are not eligible for placements/internships from SINFODE
  • The balance 20% attendance can be considered only on the grounds of college/university examinations, sick leave, and other valid instances as in context with the norms of the institute
  • In case of examinations, kindly send an email to contact@sinfode.com and intimate the same at the earliest possible. Students should email the schedule of the university examinations and mention all details for the same
  • In case of a change in the schedule of exams, kindly update SINFODE authorities via email
  • Institute has the right to grant or reject a leave depending upon the nature of the request
  • A letter of attendance record will be emailed to the student’s parents or guardian
  • If you miss a class, regardless of the reason, we cannot give a refund or allow you to take the class at another time unless the team at SINFODE has decided to do so due to the majority of students having examinations
  • No backup sessions shall be offered on any grounds to the students for lectures conducted offline. Students who miss the online sessions will be provided with a recording of the session and then clear their doubts with the trainer
  • Refer to reference material provided by the institute from time to time in order to cover missed sessions. Reference material for the respective course will be shared with students in view mode only and not in the downloadable format
  • In case you request for a complete transfer of batch on grounds of medical, travel, exam or any unforeseen reason, that shall attract a transfer fee as mentioned above under the title of “Batch Transfer”
  • Any student failing to attend 10 sessions or more, has to formally inform the course management team at contact@sinfode.com
  • The student will be considered as dropout/absconding from the said course if the student remains absent for 10 consecutive lectures, unless otherwise formally informed to the course management team
  • The institute reserves all rights to suspend a student or provide opportunities according to the student’s attendance record and performance at SINFODE. Strict action will be taken against the student not adhering to the minimum attendance requirement set by the institute

A. Placement Process
Student joins the course
Placement Orientation: Students will be informed about the entire placement process, attendance criteria, placement guidelines, policies, and rules & regulations
Presentation and Soft Skills Training: Multiple sessions on Presentation Skills, Soft Skills & Resume making will be conducted during the duration of the course
Career Guidance & Mentoring: Career guidance and mentoring sessions will be conducted to provide students with profile insights, types of roles available, the selection processes in agencies and companies
One to one Mock Interview Sessions: Students are trained on interview etiquettes, negotiation skills, and offer types available in the industry
Final Projects: Students have to present and submit their final presentations at the end of the course. These final projects include theoretical and practical application of the course curriculum
Interviews Interview rounds consist of multiple telephonic interviews & face to face interviews with agencies and brands
Placements: Owing to all the steps mentioned above, students get placed either on brandside or an agency.

B. Guidelines
SINFODE shall aim to provide placement assistance for all passing out students. These guidelines are framed to ensure equality and fairness of opportunity to all the students. All students who opt for placement through SINFODE shall abide by the guidelines prescribed herein below
Any breach of rules specified below by any student shall be taken up seriously by the SINFODE who in turn will view the matter and take action against the student, as it may deem fit
The Institution reserves the right of modifying any or all of the below norms and/or stipulating additional norms for placement which, in its judgment and discretion, are likely to benefit the student & the institution, immediately or in the future
Placement is an additional perk offered by the institution. The final authority in case of any dispute would be the Chief Learning Officer, his/her decision will be final
The Placement cell and various other Faculty members only facilitate and provide guidance to the students in terms of placements
TThe complete responsibility of Placement is on the students, SINFODE being only the facilitator. The meaning of facilitation has to be clearly understood here. In all circumstances, it does not imply that SINFODE assures Placement to all the students. SINFODE provides 100% placement

C. Eligibility:
Mentioned below are the eligibility pointers for placement assistance. Failure in any will lead to debarment from placements
In order to be eligible for placements, a student must have a minimum of 80% attendance in the entire curriculum. It is mandatory for the students to attend the resume-building, soft & managerial skills sessions conducted
A 2 months internship is mandatory to qualify for placement assistance. Students have to score a minimum of 50% in all of their assignments and pass the final project to be eligible for placements. Also note, the student has to submit the same in the specified deadline mentioned by the institution
The final project has to be presented and submitted at the given date mentioned by the institute
Students opting for placements need to give all MCQ exams & submit all the assignments before the given deadline, failing to which the student will be DISQUALIFIED from any placement assistance from SINFODE
Students failing to submit assignments will be FAILING the course and that will result in NO CERTIFICATE and MARK SHEET from SINFODE
To be eligible for 100% placement assistance from the Institution and receive the final marksheet, it is mandatory for each student to fill out the Placement Form. If a student is not looking for placements, he/she still has to fill the placement form
Students‌ ‌are‌ ‌expected‌ ‌to‌ ‌behave‌ ‌professionally‌ ‌with‌ ‌all‌ ‌employees‌ ‌of‌ SINFODE.‌ ‌Any‌ ‌misconduct,‌ misbehavior,‌ ‌non-maintenance‌ ‌of‌ ‌decorum‌ ‌would‌ ‌be‌ ‌dealt‌

D. Rules and Regulations:
Students must note that the hiring process takes 45-60 days from the day he/she submits their application to us and informs the placement cell that they are actively looking for placements
If a student has opted for placements and later decides to not opt for the same anymore, the student has to inform the placement cell about the same via email. Every time a student changes his placement status, it is mandatory for him/her to update the placement cell about the same
If a student is offered a placement, he/she has to take that offer. In cases where the student does not want to take the offer, he will be offered two more chances to appear for interviews. If the student exhausts all three attempts, he has to accept the offer that is already provided. The final decision will be taken by the Placement Cell and the student has to abide by the same
A‌ ‌student‌ ‌can‌ ‌apply‌ to ‌as‌ ‌many‌ ‌companies‌ ‌as‌ ‌he/she‌ ‌would‌ ‌like‌ ‌to‌ ‌but‌ ‌at‌ ‌the‌ ‌same‌ ‌time,‌ ‌if‌ ‌selected‌ ‌he/she‌ ‌would‌ ‌have‌ ‌to‌ ‌appear‌ ‌for‌ ‌the‌ ‌further‌ ‌selection‌ ‌procedure‌ ‌(viz.‌ ‌further interview rounds) ‌adopted‌ ‌by‌ ‌the‌ ‌Company,‌ ‌in‌ ‌the‌ ‌best‌ ‌of‌ ‌his‌/‌her‌ ‌spirits
Once placed, the students should continue with the same Company for a period of a minimum of six months to give their learning a shape and maintain a healthy relationship between Institute and the Company. In case of unavoidable circumstances, the students must contact and seek necessary advice from the Placement Cell before communicating their decision to the Company
If the student fails to qualify after being selected for the final round of interviews in 3 (three) companies he/she will not be allowed any further Placement assistance from the Institute. No request would be entertained in all circumstances
It is mandatory for the student to go for an interview in a particular organization. If post-interview the student would not like to opt for the said profile, he can reject the offer provided only if he has two more attempts left
All students would be required to be present in the Institute on the placement day in formal attire. Formals would mean blazers/suits/shirt and tie for boys and business Suits/Indian wear for girls
It is compulsory for all the students to attend the Pre-Placement Talks (If any)
If a student is offered a Pre-Placement Offer, that is a hiring opportunity before the curriculum ends, it is mandatory for the student to inform the same to the Placement Cell
Once a student has applied for a particular company after the Pre-Placement talk/ display of Placement notice for the Company it would be assumed that he/she is interested in the Company and hence the excuse of not liking the profile of the Company or the job would not be entertained. All defaulters would be subject to severe penalties as per the decision of the Placements Head
If there is any change in personal details on the resume (mob. No./email id/address) students should immediately Inform the placement cell and share an updated resume
Once the student is placed, it is mandatory for the student to notify the institute about the same. Students have to disclose the profile and package offered for the role
Post placements, the marketing team will reach out to the student for promotions (Decided by the Placement Cell). If the student has been placed through the institution, the student has to comply with the further activities for the promotions
